S T U P I D O L O G Y

Stupidology means “the science and study of stupidity”, the etymology or origin of this word comes out:
– from Latin stupidus (“struck senseless, amazed”), from stupeō (“be amazed or confounded, be struck senseless”); and
– from λογία (logía, “-logs, registry, branch of study, to speak”).

Humankind is Stupid

You wake up in the morning merely to jump-start right into your regular hamster-wheels, you don’t notice any more you function like an automaton in disconnection about most what happens around you.

What seems to give life to people’s hearts in modern times, is to contemplate each other at the moment their fall arrives, only there you’ll witness all kinds of reactions that reveal the small character that rules our lives inside.

So the truth, generally speaking, is that humans have a high propensity to stupidity, verified by observing the terrible management of the planet’s resources, the endless wars for profit that benefit only the very few while sending to die/kill the young and the economical inequality where two million people (1% of the world’s population) are in control of the entire financial system which manages 90% of the global wealth; while on the other side the world’s population, 60% lives with a salary of USD$2 per day and 40% lives in poverty with less than that, all of them unable to access proper services as drinking water and sewage; pretty bad for a “smart” specie.

The “elite” VS the people

So if your income is:

over USD$80 million per month,

then you are the “elite”, the top humans, the cream of the cream of people, the best of us from the economical perspective because money seems to be the only thing that matters since ever. And here we are NOT talking about those “rich” kids whose families live “comfortable” because they make a couple of million dollars, their reality although a bit different is pretty much the same as the rest of us.

The elite wake up everyday to a life that is unimaginable to the rest, where the roads and streets are closed and cleared so all of you can move around the city while smelling great and wearing USD$8,000 suits, showing the contrast on the non-premium side of the bridge where the regular “lucky” people comes from, those that maybe have a car and drive for an hour to a “decent” job that pays USD$4,000 per month; then a little farther those that wake up at 5 am to get ready to a 2 hour commute on a sardine-packed public transport to reach their under-paid humdrum and mechanical jobs to make an average of USD$2,000 per month, which in most countries this is the standard. The elite makes 40,000 times more money than any of us.

But of course, maybe all of this is NOT quite right for you, henceforth you are the reason we are here. Thanks!

The study of Stupidity is of outmost importance

Now that we understand and accept that stupidity is an essential part of our human nature, is also notable that we spend more time on the side of stupidity than on the side of intelligence, formation, development or even union – stupids cannot but fight all the time; so we conclude that the study and proper registration of human stupidity is a matter of relevance to master its consequences and responsibilities, to accept it, to respect it and to make peace with it as an evident part of our lives that happens to become one of the most abundant and profound schooling we could ever receive.

Gratitude to our magical human essence because the natural way is the path to take.

Human stupidity has expanded dramatically

The more our capacity increases, the bigger the stupid acts we will commit. Stupidity cannot nor it will be stopped ever, so we have to accept it and respect it, to make peace with it. So this is our way to create a testimony that will help us to remember and learn for the future.
